Cannes Lions Festival

Each summer we head out to Cannes for just over a week for the Lions Festival to cater for an international client in one of the most prestigious private properties in the south of France. Throughout the week we look after the house guests as well as cater for a number of parties, the largest of these being the renowned mid-week bash which is one of the most sought after invitations.

A vegetable farm just five minutes from the villa provides us with fantastically fresh and seasonal produce that we work into the menu alongside other ingredients that are in season in this region. The evening commences with canap├ęs and bowl food ahead of the food stations opening. This year we set up huge paella pans to serve up traditional seafood and chicken and chorizo options along with pan con tomate. Chicken, beef and prawns were cooked over charcoal in villa’s own medieval style BBQ grill and presented alongside brilliantly colourful salads.

As the talent played on a raised stage submerged in the pool, the sun set on another beautiful day in Cannes and we circulated simple ice creams and sorbets to finish off the guests’ dining experience.
