Harry’s Bar Lunch

When the original site of Annabel’s closed, we were lucky enough to have the space for 2018 and it was re-launched as 44 Berkeley Square. During what was an incredibly hot summer, we used the roof terrace to entertain clients and introduce them to the venue for future events. It was also an opportunity for us to remind clients that we are able to offer any of the iconic brands within our group. On this occasion, we presented Harry’s Bar.

On arrival, our lunch guests could choose from a selection of cooling spritz cocktails including the ubiquitous Aperol spritz. Harry’s Bar is famed for their Bellini’s so we had to include those too!

Cooling drinks in hand, guests were seated for lunch which although five courses long, was intentionally light. A creamy burrata was served simply with perfectly ripe avocado and English heritage tomatoes. A small pasta course of aubergine ravioli was followed by a pan-fried fillet of sea bass and served simply with zucchini fritti.

A granita of lemon cleansed the palate ahead of a scoop of the legendary Harry’s Bar chocolate ice cream. For those who hadn’t lapsed in to a food coma, or had to return to their office, Italian cheeses and biscuits was lazily demolished as we melted along with the cheeses into the rest of the afternoon.
