Our bride and groom chose One Marylebone for their celebration with 230 friends and family. The brief was to create a wild garden that would be dark, romantic and atmospheric for their autumn wedding.

Florists Grace & Thorn set to transforming the venue with hanging foliage throughout and twinkling lanterns to create a soft glow. After a ceremony at a nearby church, guests arrived to champagne and lavender & basil margaritas. After darkness fell, guests descended the stairs where the spectacular setting for dinner was revealed.

An Italian style starter of prosciutto, Caprissimo goat’s cheese, wild nasturtium and pine nut dressing was followed by J Sheekey’s pan-fried slip soles, smoked garlic, ndjua butter and triple cooked chips. Banoffee cheesecake, doughnuts and salted caramel completed the dinner.

“I literally cannot put into words how amazing last night was! Everything was absolutely perfect. I had the most amazing night and everything was just sensational. People were coming up to me saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Thank you so much for everything. Honestly I was so upset we had to go home!”
