On a scorching summer’s day, we took up residence in the perfectly chilled 160 Old Street. Working with the industrial interior of the top floor of this new development in Old Street, we furnished the space with metal finish Tolix chairs and distressed wooden tables.

The agents arrived to view the building and were greeted with ice cold beers and G&T’s. Pub snack inspired bites such as truffle mac ‘n’ cheese bites, Scotch eggs and haddock goujons were served up ahead of a seated two course sharing style lunch. Large wooden boards of rib-eye beef, rose harissa corn-fed chicken and Thai style sea bass were passed between guests. Chimichurri, bone marrow gravy and horseradish crème fraîche were offered alongside sweet potato fries, heritage tomato salad and char-grilled broccoli. Chocolate caramel tarts with whipped cream and hazelnuts satisfied the chocolate lovers along with huge bowls of seasonal Eton Mess providing a lighter alternative.

After lunch guests made full use of the botanical gin and craft beer bar whilst enjoying the sun on the terrace.
